Welcome to my My Very Own Cat Page

 Meowmie said I could have my
very own cat page because I'm such a puuurrfect kitty. Well, she
actually said I grew up in her lap while she was on the computer so I was
a natural born "WebKitty",
but I know she meant I was puuurrfect! Of course, she gave Peaches one too.
But, since I'm the oldest, I get to be first. I'm 2 & 1/2 years old.
That gives me seniority in this house, let me tell you! (Or do you think
it has anything to do with the fact that I weigh-in at about 14 pounds?
After all, my nickname is "Big Boy"). By the way, they call Peaches
"Butterball" he, he, he!

I'm named for Winnie the
Pooh's Tigger, of course. Mommy said that the name
came to her immediately after she laid eyes on me for the first time. That
makes me famous, or at least named after a famous cat. What, he's
not a kitty cat! Mommmmmy! Mommy and I will
talk about that later--more about me. |
Mommy
and Daddy rescued me from under their truck, but
that's all on Mommy's Cat page, A
Tail of Two Cats. I don't remember much
about my time in the wild, I don't really want to
remember. want to remember. When I get in the window I do hear
something

| calling me and I want to go, but then
Mommy reminds me
of all the luxuries and love I have here and the urge goes away. |
|
|
I get tuna and chicken and beef, and
fish and treats and petting every day, have
lots of toys, and sleep on a soft bed with Mommy and Daddy (I especially
like cuddling in the winter). Actually, I sleep anywhere I want.
These humans are pushovers for a sweet face and a little purring.
Mommy and Daddy had me neutered (I forgave them for that), they make sure
I get all of my shots, and take me to the vet whenever I have a health
problem. I guess I should thank them for all of these things, but
somehow its hard to be thankful for those vet trips. Mommy and Daddy are the best
parents a
cat could have. Lucky me!
(OK, I said what you told me to say. Do I get the treats now????)

I really like to chase my adopted brother, Peaches, but he has such a big
mouth! He screams for Mommy and Daddy every time I jump him, and
then they fuss at me. I ask you, is that fair? I also like to chase
and eat bugs, but Mommy says that's gross (I guess that's humans for you).
I don't understand why she gets so bent out of shape over it. I watch
birds from the window chattering away at them and would really like to
chase them, but if Mommy thinks the bugs are gross
she'd freak over what I
want to do to the birds.
Humans! Gotta love 'em.

Other things I really like are lazing in the sun and treats. My
little brother, Peaches, always wants to be first in line for any kind of
food. He even tries to eat the dogs food (ech!) So far he
still has all his body parts, but he had a few close calls. I'm his
big brother and I have tried to bring him up right, You know,
teaching him all the cat things that Mommy and Daddy don't know about.
He's not very good at the aloof cat thing yet, but he'll learn. I'm
a very good big brother even though I had to put up a show of hating the
new kitty at first sight. I did all the hissing and back arching and
I must have been very good at it because I heard Mommy and Daddy talking
about taking the little one back if I didn't stop. They were afraid
I'd hurt him. I'd never do that! Didn't they know it was all
an act to put him in his place? The poor little guy came from the
pound so I decided to make nice and adopt him. You should have seen
the look on Mommy's face the next morning when she found us curled up
sleeping together! I even made a show of cleaning the little guy. He's not so bad after all. |

I'm a very friendly cat. I always
introduce myself to people who come to our house, and get downright
affectionate to old friends. Daddy always tells people not to be afraid of
me--the worst I could do is "friendly you to death," he says. Well, I don't know
about that, but any friend of Mommy and Daddy
is a potential slave pettier of mine.

passed away on November 15, 2002 of Jaundice (Hepatitis)

was only 1 & 1/2 years old.

was so loved and will be sorely missed by all.

for Nickie and she didn't want him to be alone so ..........

Welcome
Dude's new brother, Tucker
He
came from the pound. He's 5 months old and is a tabby
with a lot of white on his stomach and legs. He looks like a
white cat wearing a tabby cape! (Tucker's
picture and his web page coming soon) |

| And
of course Mommy can't go to the pound and walk out empty
handed! So Peaches and I have a new baby sister.
She's actually not so little, she's 2 to 3 years old, but
she's small for her age. Mommy said the older cats
don't get adopted as quick as cute little kittens so she
wanted to give a home to a kitty that may not have long to |
|
live at the pound. I have to do my Hissy Fit routine
and Peaches is already sucking up to the new girl. Her
name is Baily (She already had that name).
