First Generation

Gyles WARNER made his will 25 Dec 1757, probated 30 Jan 1758 Bardwell Parish, Suffolk, England. He was buried 5 Jan 1758 at Bardwell. He married Jul 1726 Great Finborow to Catherine BRADLEY (1701-1775) of Bardwell, daughter of Guilielmus Bradley and Susanna Sherman.


Second Generation

The children of Gyles Warner and Catherine Bradley were:

(1) Thomas WARNER baptized 24 Sep 1727 Bardwell Parish, Suffolk, not named in his father's will of 1757.

(2) Mary WARNER baptized 21 Nov 1731 and buried 23 Jan 1742 Bardwell Parish, Suffolk.

(3) Ann WARNER baptized 19 Feb 1735 Bardwell Parish, Suffolk. She married 13 Oct 1756 Bardwell Parish to Elisha JAMES of Bougham, Suffolk.

(4) Catherine WARNER baptized 16 May 1736 Bardwell Parish, Suffolk. Catherine had an illegitimate child, Charles WARNER who was baptized 28 Jan 1760 at Stanton All Saints. She married 12 Oct 1763 Stanton All Saints, Suffolk to Anthony CALLOW of Bardwell.

(5) Elizabeth WARNER was baptized 13 Jul 1738 Bardwell Parish, Suffolk. She married 9 May 1769 to Robert FROST of Bardwell.

(6) Isabella WARNER was named as a child in her father's will.

(7) William WARNER was named as a child in his father's will.

THE WILL OF GILES WARNER

In the Name of God Amen I Giles Warner of Bardwell in the County of Suffolk Yeoman being in good memory thanks to God for the same do make this my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills formerly made by me and is in mannor and form following. Item. I given and bequeath unto Cathorin my beloved wife all and singular my real estate both free as well as copyhold (?)Lying and being in Bardwell or elsewhere and also my personable Estate of Horses Cows Carts-- Karrowes with all my Implements of Husbandry to Have and to hold During her natural Life paying unto my four Daughters after named as followeth To Ann my Daughter the sum of twenty pounds and to Cathorin my Daughtor twenty pounds and to Elizabeth my daughtor twenty pounds and to Ezibellah my Daughtor twenty pounds If it can conveniently be paid by my wife during the term of her natural Life and what remain unpaid by my said Wife I bind also my Son William to pay one year after my said Wifes Decease Giving him my said real Estate after the Decease of his Mother both free as well as copyhold and do also bind and ?? over the aforementioned Estate for the payment of the Remainder of my Daughtors for him and for them to enter upon the Estate or any part thereof and possess the same as by Law directed till their Residue of their twenty pounds shall be paid. Also I do nominate and appoint Cathorin my wife whole and sole Executrix to this my said Will and Testament as witness my Hand this twenty fifth Day of December in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred fifty and seven/Giles Warner/Sealed and delivered in the presence of James Johnson, John Munns Thos Cooper.

Probate of this will was made in common form before John Boldero Clerk Surr to Brampton Gurdon Clerk A:M: Official 30th Janry 1758 by the Oath of the Extrix to whom admron was granted being sworn Saving all Right.
