Second Generation

The children of John BURROWES and Freelove included:

(1) John BURROWS Jr. christened 27 Aug 1710 Grace Church, Jamaica, Long Island, NY. He was also a weaver. His first wife was named Sarah ---- (1710-1751). John married next 19 May 1754 to Mary WILISON (1725-1762). He made his will 18 May 1784 Elizabethtown, Essex Co., NJ and died 10 Oct. 1785.

(2) Stephen BURROWES was christened at Grace Church, Jamaica, Long Island, NY. He married first to Hannah WATERS and second on 27 Feb 1757 at St. John's Church, Elizabethtown, NJ to Mary TOWNLEY. Stephen's will was proved 10 Jun 1784 at Elizabethtown, NJ.

Third Generation

The children of John Burrowes and Sarah included:

(1) Anne BURROWES born Sept 1741, died 3 Mar 1810, buried St. John's Church, Elizabethtown, NJ. She married 24 Dec 1761 at St. John's to Gabriel BARTON.

(2) Mary BURROWES baptized 12 Oct 1755 St. John's Church, Elizabethtown, NJ. She married 5 Jun 1769 at St. John's to Edward TOWNLEY (1739-1823). Mary died 25 Oct 1794 and is buried at St. John's Church.

(3) John BURROWES was baptized 12 Oct 1755.

The children of John Burrowes and Mary Wilkison were:

(5) Jane BURROWES baptized 29 Dec 1757 St. John's, Elizabethtown, NJ.
