Civil War Generals 2 is a military strategy game which was released by Sierra in 1996. This is the best military strategy game we have ever seen. You can battle as the boys in Blue or Gray from the Mississippi Valley or on the Atlantic coast. Play an Individual battle, a mini campaign or the entire war. Create your own customized battlefields or even play On-Line against real opponents on the World Oppenent Network (WON). |

We are the Boys of "Team MIB". Team MIB was founded around March of 2001 by a group of young men who had discovered the joys of playing CWG2. We were all-ready good friends before CWG2, sense we belong to the same Civil War Reenactment unit. That happens to be where we came up with the name MIB. When we are not Reenacting with the "Missouri Irish Brigade of Civil War Reenactors", one can usually find the members of "Team MIB" on the WON Network or busy creating new CWG2 scenario's.
The big reason that we created "Team MIB", is because, although CWG2 comes with over 40 Authentic Civil War Scenarios that cover the war from the Western theaters to the Eastern Theaters, it seems to have forgotten the Trans Mississippi Theater. This is a common occurance on most works about the American Civil War, and the CWG2 creaters freely admit that sense their were litterly thousands of Battles fought in the Civil War, that they could not include everyones favorite battles. That is why they included the Editor mode.
The Trans Mississippi Theater was largly over looked by the High Commands of both Armys. It basicly included the states of Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, the Indian Territories (Oklahoma), and a small portion of the state of Kansas. The Members of "Team MIB" all reside with-in the Trans Mississippi Theater. We have a special interest in studying the War in the Trans Mississippi, and wanted to create a collection of CWG2 Trans Mississippi Theater Scenarios. Thus this web page has been created.
You will find on this page a collection of Scenarios that "Team MIB" has created. They are all Trans Mississippi Theater Scenarios, and have been created to be as historicly accurate as possible. They are free to anyone who would like to download them and play. Also, if anyone would like to submit a Trans Mississippi Scenario for us to post, we encourage you to contact us and we would be more then happy to reveiw and possibly post it.

The Roll Call - With Cwg2 being a near 10 years old, most players have moved on to other games and have mustered out of Cwg2. Team MIB is no different. Although still in existance, the ranks have thinned and the put out of new scenario's has slowed considerably. Unfortantly, the World Oppenent Network (WON) has long since been out of service, and we feel that this has been a big factor in the decline in Cwg2. There is another on-line forum for Cwg2, and interested players should visit our guest book on the web address and who to contact. Although Cwg2 is near passed, The veterans of Team MIB, still answer the roll Call from time to time. Keep an eye out for some more great Trans-Mississippi scenario's that we have in the works. - HUZZAH!!! |
