| Elkhorn Tavern - Also known as the Battle of Pea Ridge, Elkhorn Tavern was fought in March 1862. Confederate General Earl Van Dorn united with General Sterling Price and his Missouri State Guard and they advanced upon the smaller Federal "Army of the Southwest". The Plan was to outflank and destroy the Federals and then to advance into Missouri and Capture St. Louis. This was in all reality the Confederates best such opportunity to do so. Note - This scenario is a remake of the RS Pea Ridge Scenario. The Map is for the most part the same. The only difference is a more accurate Missouri State Guard Order of Battle.
