| A Brief History of Vintage Motorcycle Activity in Saskatchewan |
||||||
| For 14 years Saskatchewan was blessed with an event called the Biggar British Bike Rally. This event was organized by John Bennett, Rick Epp and a few friends who shared an interest in British motorcycles. Over the years the rally grew to embrace motorcycles from other countries also. 14 years is a long run for a small group of people to continue an event and when there was talk of starting a Saskatchewan Section of CVMG; John and Rick offered "the Rally" to the newly formed group. This would give them a much deserved break and allow them to be participants rather than organizers. Rick Epp was the first flicker of a CVMG flame in Sask. He served as sort of a one man executive until the first official President, Treasurer and Corresponding Secretary were elected at a meeting of the members in November of 1999. So the year 2000, the NEW MILLENIUM, was the first full year for the Saskatchewan Section. | ||||||
