PASS THE BILL

The Water Usage Bill
Water usage is a complicated issue.  Minimizing the amount of water you use will leave more water to the natural environment and
reduce the amount of chemicals needed to clean wastewater at water treatment and wastewater facilities, thus leaving our wetlands, rivers and oceans healthier.  A majority of the Earth's oxygen comes from the ocean.  A polluted (unhealthy) ocean cannot carry out its work efficiently.
     -Be sure to conserve water

The Heating Bill
Heated water from your showerhead, sink, or dishwasher use more than just water.  They use energy, such as oil, gas, or electricity, to produce heat.  Concerns of excess water use relate to many everything from The Water Bills above, as well as pollution created by your water heater.

Some solutions in addition to the amount of time water is run may include using solar energy to heat your water or using a "low-flow faucet aerator".  These can easily be applied to your water outlets to replace showerheads, sink faucet screens, and some dishwasher attachments.  Ask your local hardware store or plumber for help.  Low-flow faucet aerators cut your water and heating bills in half, by combining air with the water, which in turn decreases the amount of water and energy used in the process.  They are water and energy efficient and you will notice an improvement in performance and environmental concerns, not to mention extra cash in your wallet.  Replace your old attachments.
Somehow we've got to live side by side...
"Human coexistence with nature."

Brake!
Grow 'em!
For their sake!
Don't mow 'em
Grow a Tree (or two!): Make this the year you grow a tree in your yard.  Springtime is an easy time to find tree seedlings popping up everywhere.  You can transplant them to a desirable location if they are growing in your vegetable/flower garden or lawn.  You can also order trees on-line or purchase them at garden shops.  Even dedicate them to a loved one or soldiers over seas.
