A kiss is something special given to one by someone who cares about them. Indeed, there are many types of kisses. A kiss on the hand to say, "I adore you." -- one on the cheek to say, "I love you, my friend." -- another on your lips...then you wonder, "What kind of love am I sharing with this person?" Yes, there will be times in which one or the other feels "it was a mistake." Nontheless, if one should feel that way, then you shouldn't be with that person, more or less in a relationship or not. Actions truly define, and for those of you reading this, I have great advice for you: Never let a guy or girl come in between a tight-knit friendship. For all you ladies out there, both young and old, if a guy ever kisses you, don't always assume that he's the "one." Love takes time, they say; but to fulfill it in every possible way, know that it will hurt, and nothing can change that. It's life, and many teens need to understand that. Don't rush with love, for you're only playing with fire and fooling yourself as well as everyone else around you. Take it from me, a girl who is but a teenager herself, I KNOW. Don't torture yourself because it will only dig the knife in your heart deeper. Here we go...LOVE. Love is an unconditional feeling a person has towards another person. Love is eternal; it lasts forever. It should never fade away once you find it. I think that a person can fall in love more than once. However, I believe that a person can only fall ultimately and entirely in love once. Why do I say this? No matter how many years a married couple is together, their love should stay the same, perhaps grow even more. If love is everlasting, how can a person possibly find another partner? Why? -- because you can't/shouldn't. Love between two people is an infinte bond that contains affection, friendship, and patience. One could "like" a person, but can they love? When you fall in love for the first time and experience your first REAL kiss, it's the most beautiful thing in the world just as much as hugging the person you love and getting butterflies in your stomach every time you see that one special person. Whether it would be watching a movie cuddled up on the couch with someone you love (no matter the person) or spending time with a really close friend, discover that love is unconditional and stronger than time. ~character Oliver Barrett IV from Love Story by Erich Segal. |
