Valentine's Day, 2002
Craig and I signing the register at Nottingham Registry Office.  It was a lovely service with our own choice of music and Kate and Scott reciting a piece of poetry each.  Our witnesses were my brother Kevin and our friend Frances from Birmingham.
It's rare to get a good photograph of my Mam and Dad together and both smiling...so this could be the only one that ever appears on the site!
Likewise my brother Kevin...he's usually pulling a face or has his head turned.  GOTCHA!
After the photographs were taken at the registry office we all trooped up to the Elwes Arms in Bakersfield.  It's a lovely pub and it's where Craig and I went for our first date so we thought it only fitting that we hold our reception there.  The food was lovely and there was plenty of it and everyone seemed to have a nice time. 

We made our way back to our house - complete with cans tied to the tow bar of the car (thanks kids!) - where Kevin made a toast and we cut the wedding cake.  We supplied everyone with a glass of bubbly and a slice of wedding cake and not long after that, people started to leave.  A lovely day.
