The Tulsa Tradition 1990
Tim Doug Don Curt
"A Pure Phenomenon" was the term the late John Loots (baritone of the 1958International Champion "Gaynotes") used to describe The Tulsa Tradition. When tenor Tim Ambrose, lead Curt Angel, baritone Don Conner, and bass Doug Crowl got together back in 1990, what started out as a teaching quartet forthe Tulsa #1 chapter turned into much more.Within three months, they captured the Southwestern District Championship.  Then they produced their "First Hello" recording, placed as top qualifiers from the Southwestern District toInternational competition, and fnished in the elite Top Ten atInternational....all in their first year!

The Tulsa Tradition has placed in the Top Ten at International competitiona total of four times, finishing as high as sixth place.  Along the way, they produced their second recording, "Shenandoah," and establishedthemselves as premier entertainers on the Barbershop show circuit.

The Tulsa Tradition looksforward to rekindling old friendships and making new ones as they continueto entertain audiences across the country. So say hello to Tim, Curt, Don, and Doug...as the Tulsa Tradition continues!
