Welcome friends and enemies.   I would like to show you the world of Gaia.   This world is the home of Dravis Downward as well as many other heros and villains that reside on it, or in it.   Here, I will tell you tales of heroism, villanism, and mishaps.   Please take the time to read and enjoy.   Also, when my friend Aila gets some pics done for me, I will link to them.   Enjoy :)
Gaia - By Tim Curry
Most Recent Story: Bajin the Thief.
He lay there, picking his nails with a dagger while staring at the stars.   Lots of things where going through Bajin's head.  That day he had managed to infiltrate a warriors guild, take a good lot of loot from the market, overhear an important conversation between the king and his head knight, and most importantly kidnap a rich man's daughter for ransom.  Boy, had he had a great day.

"Let me out of here this instant!"  Said Gwynn.

Gwynn was the rich man's daughter.  Bajin had her locked up in a cage on a donkey cart.  Her father, being the Lord of Bradidier keep would give him good money for the safe return of his daughter.

"Oh, I'd love to." Said Bajin,"but there's just one problem.  You know what that is?"

Gwynn gave him a furious look.

"I don't care what the problem is.  I just want out.  When I tell my father..."

"Tell your father?  What makes you think I'm going to let you do that?   I have plans for you girl, and don't even think I'm going to tell you what they are."

She seemed to have shut up.  This was good for Bajin because he wanted peace and quiet.  The hectic day had given him a sore back.

"Hey, why don't you give me a massage girl?" asked Bajin.

Gwynn spit back, "Massage?   What in the name of the Gods makes you think I would do something like that?   Do I have Harlot written across my forehead?"

Bajin shrugged at her.  The look on her face at that moment was priceless.   He laughed at this and aquired a furious "OOOOOH" from Gwynn.   It was good for Bajin to hear some comic relief.

After a while of aggravating her, he decided to go to sleep.  After all, didn't he deserve it?  He lie down and counted the stars.  1, 2, 3, 4, 5...   After he reached some number in the hundreds, he fell asleep.

Gwynn noticed this and decided to take out her hairpin and try to pick the lock.   She was no thief like Bajin, and knew that his reflexes would hear a slight noise.  She carefully inserted the pin into the keyhole and worked it around.  After a good while of struggling she broke the hair pin.   This made her wonder how in heaven's name a thief could do it with even more crude tools than this.

The pin was not a complete loss, however.   There was still enough to work the lock, and the shortened version may render more of a sturdy lock-pick than the latter.  She worked again until, "click"

The noise made Bajin awaken.   She held the door shut so he wouldn't notice that she had picked it.

"What do you think you are doing girl?"  Bajin asked.

"Nothing."   She said.   "I'm trying to rattle the door open."

Bajin laughed at this and dozed off again.

Slowly Gwynn opened the door on the cage and crept out.   Great!   She had done it.  She quickly jumped down, but carefully as not to make much noise.
Update:  This site will now host stories other than Gaia stories.  The newest stories will be clickable on my pic.
Today we have a special treat for people who like Bajin.  It's about trickery among the gullible.

Gwynn decided to make a run for it now.  She headed toward the woods, hopin Bajin didn't awaken and chase her.   While closing in on the shadows she heard a growl.  Having no weapons she panicked and began to run back in the direction of Bajin.   Oddly enough, Bajin was right behind her.

"Hahahaha"He laughed.  "You don't think I know when a girl has escaped"

"There's something in there!"   She yelled.

"No there's not."   That was me you silly ditz.   Now get back over here.   And while I'm at it I'm going to have to search you.   Oh, and don't mind the grabbing I have to do, you are too young for me."

Bajin searched her body over and found nothing else that seemed like a tool, but not before removing the other hair-pin from Gwynn's hair.   By this time she had given up on escape and willingly got back in the cage.

It seemed like he had won this little scuffle.   He knew he could get the ransom money now, and was proud of it.  Slowly he dozed off once more and awaited the light of morning when he would demand the ransom.
