Okay maybe one day you will bump into an evil enchantress who can turn you into a mermaid, so you better start preparing now!
1. Wear a skirt instead of pants, it's kinda like have one fin.(Err guys probably shouldn't try this!!)
2. Get used to wearing a hard bra.
3. Flip flops are the only shoes that sort of resemble a fin.
4. Practice holding your breath, so you can explore your soon to be home before the transformation.
5. Change your diet to poultry and vegtables(cuz last time i checked, there weren't any cows under the sea)
6. Take swimming lessons if you can't swim.
7. Petition for fish rights. Nets=death for you when you are a mermaid.
8. Start talking to fish everywhere you go. When people ask what you are doing simply tell them "I'm talking to my own kind"
9. Take baths instead of showers, you waste less water and it's easier to absorb water into your gills, i mean skin.
10. Start combing your hair with forks.
11. Learn everything there is to know about fish. Hey you don't want to make the mistake of shaking hands with an electric eel or touching a poisoness fish.
12. Get used to sand everywhere.
13. Stock up on your sea shell collection. You want to be able to trade for food when you are down there.
14. Spend every waking moment in water.
15. Get a nature sounds alarm clock so you can fall asleep listening to the ocean. Or if you live by one...even better.
16. Start wearing pearls, it's the only jewerly that clams will sell you.
17. Start using sea scented body wash(although if they think that the ocean really smells fruity then they need to go smell a fish)
18. Start substituting fish names for regular sayings like "oh my gosh that seems fishy to me" or "He doesn't know anything he's just a guppy" or "float my boat" or even "don't get cold fins now"
19. Start reminding your friends that you aren't really one of them. Start calling them barbarians and fish killers.
20. If all else fails watch The Little Mermaid about 20 times.
