My Favorite Sabbats: Mabon Samhain Beltaine-I practiced May Day in elementary school. We danced around the Maypole every year. I wonder if they knew what they were doing?

January 6, 2003 My first ritual of the new year came from the Witch's Spell a Day 2003. I chose goals for the new year. I cast the circle from Konstantinos' Nocturnal witchcraft. I usually only cast at night. I made a circle of stones made from stones I collected at my Grandparents house in AL at Christmas. I got a beautiful large quartz crystal from them that they dug out of the hillside.

February 2, 2003 Imbolc It was a beautiful ritual. We had thirteen stones, thirteen blue tea lites, and a bunch of yummy white flowers. We wrote our goals for the year and burned them in the cauldron. We planted some Queen of the Night black tulips and afterwards I did a banishing/smudging of the whole house with my cedar/sage/lavendar smudge stick. After the banishing our bedroom door slammed open and shut and the cats were with us so I'll just pretend it was the wind, yeah.
February 17, 2003 The full moon was in my sign LEO. I did a creativity spell. I made a circle of fire stones around the central candle. I used ruby and some red pebble stones. I carved creativity runes into a red candle to celebrate the fire aspect and did a meditation. I did a wax divination with the elemental fire candle and it showed circles which my life seems to be going in lately. I ate strawberries to ground yummy. It definetly was a storm moon this month. I was snowed in for 3 days straight and did a lot of meditating and writing. I don't know that I figured out much though. Here's a conversion chart I find helpful for oils: 1/8 fluid ounce(fo)=1 dram=1/2 tsp plus 1/8 tsp 1/4 fo=2 drams=1 & 1/4 tsp or 1/2 tbl 1/2 fo=4 drams=1 tbl (tablespoon) 3/4 fo=6 drams= 1 tbl plus 1/2 tbl 1 fo=8 drams= 2 tbl
