Built from analogies between
Digital Signal Processing Technologies and Quantum Mechanics, the Sampling
Universe Theory assumes that our universe is the discrete representation of an
infinite upper universe.
There is a strong analogy between Quantum Mechanics and Digital Signal
Processing technology.
Quantum Mechanics explains how our universe is working at particle
level.
Digital Signal Processing techology is used to create mathematical
representations of the real world in order to process these. For
example you can record a sound in a computer and enhance it with a
reverberation effect.
By assuming that our universe is sampled, like music is sampled on
CDs, that is possible to give a simple and intuitive representation
of several phenomena, such as: the duality wave/particle, the Heseinberg
uncertainty principle, the speed of the light, the expansion of the
universe.
In the following pages, I am listing the existing analogies between Quantum
Mechanics and Digital Signal Processing Technology.
Then I consider that the analogy is strong enough to suppose that Quantum
Mechanics and Digital Signal Processing share a common model, so that I can
extend the model from Digital Signal Processing to Quantum Mechanics, which
involves several consequences :
- A synthesis between conflicting Einstein's and Bohr's viewpoints
- A natural explanation for the expansion of the universe
- Our physical universe is a finite representation of an upper infinite
universe
