The current theory of evolution does not explain two strange facts:
1. The giant step which occurred some 10,000 years ago. For million of years man was but a caveman. Why did he suddenly began building towns and writing books?
2. The simultaneity of the evolution on the whole planet: that was not an individual incident, but it occurred simultaneously everywhere on the planet.
The example of early pyramids
For example the pyramids: I was looking for the date of the oldest pyramids on Earth, and found that they were built at the dates and locations listed at the left.
So the oldest pyramid in Egypt (2620 B.C.) and the oldest pyramid in South America (2627 B.C.) were built practically simultaneously, when there were no communication lines between both continents.
There are many other similar coincidences in known history, so I believe that some hidden factor is necessary in order to explain these coincidences (I don't consider modern times, as now each piece of human knowledge is pervading the whole planet.)
I have considered several hypothesis:
1. Reincarnation: if really we are to be reincarnated after death, we can suppose that an Egyptian architect could be reincarnated in Peru, thus ensuring the propagation of the information.
2. Telepathy in real time: could a man in America pick up the thoughts from another man in Egypt?
3. Global consciousness theory (for example the abilities demonstrated by Edgar Cayce, or the Teilhard de Chardin's Noosphere.)
4. The cosmology of Theosophy: according to Theosophy, the evolution of mankind is controlled since 20 million years by a disembodied hierarchy, who is directing its evolution (the movie 2001 Space Odyssey was somewhat along that line.)
