What New Yorkers need from the rest of America
There are posters around New York advertising mental health services. They say "We Need You Strong". 'Nuff said.
New Yorkers are recovering but we have so far to go. Support Clinton's S.1621. Write your elected and appointed officials to tell them to support New York. All of New York needs testing and cleaning. Common sense says that the toxic dust was not limited to lower Manhattan.

New Yorkers are holding our heads high, but we need more help. Everyone I know is either losing a job, lost a job, or hanging on to a job for dear life. The businesses are all struggling to keep their ships afloat. And we survive, despite warnings of future health problems from inhaling the dust as toxic as drain cleaner. If things don't change in another six months there will be another wave of unemployment.
Historically the rest of the country relies on New York to keep things generally going economically, lets put it this way, can the country afford to let New York go down?

Editorial: Managing the News Since its getting harder and harder to know the truth anymore, I propose that all news that has undergone government "information shaping" should have warning labels, like the ones required on cigarette packs. "Caution, the news you are about to read contains distorted information and untruths. Reading this article may impair your ability to be properly informed." The least we can do is leave some clues for our progeny, so they will be able to mark the time when democracy died. Talk about handing victories to terrorists. I don't get this at all. As idiotic as it is to think we can win friends by lying, it is beyond comprehension that we would let that strategy be known. Aren't we throwing our nation's credibility out of the window?
