The 2007Curameng Reunion Party will be held at Folly Beach, South Carolina in late August or early September 2007. The party site is huge that it could accommodate the expected attendees of 30-40 people. The house itself has a place for outdoor dining, and and a dance floor for ballroom dance exhibition. Hey, we need to show-off our ballroom dancers in Chito-Connie; Don-Becky; Romeo-Tessie!
In addition, the place is just a walking to the beach & the place is laden with various restaurants and hotels. The party planners for this occasion are: Liz Robles & Ron Curameng. Kindly give them your wholehearted support.

Hello and Happy New Year everyone! It's a new beginning and just as a reminder, if you haven't received your invitation for this 2nd large Curameng reunion group being hosted in beautiful Folly Beach, South Carolina, please take the time to visit www.triphub. com and register. Take the time to view the events and also, free lodging is first come first serve at Nony (Blanquera) DelaRosa's house. She has a large 4 floor bedroom home, elevator included.... .The more the merrier, especially for the young - please grab a sleeping bag, it'll be guaranteed to be a fun fun weekend! Also, don't forget to join us in the exciting ghost tour being held Friday evening in Charleston!! !!

We will be finalizing our costs per person as we did in our first ever reunion. Please please make an effort to join, for the sake of all our children so that they can get reconnected once again!

dear Cousins, 
Uncles and Aunts, Father, Mother, Sons---
 
And by the way,  I AM ENTERTAINMENT COORDINATOR
for the reunion and will be conducting 
CURAMENG IDOL SHOWS, CURAMENG JEOPARDY, 
CURAMENG FAMILY FEUD, 
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE LIKE A CURAMENG, 
CURAMENG FAMILIES' GOT TALENT to be 
performed throughout the reunion, Y'ALL!  
 
So, more on the rules, regulations, timelines, etc.  
 
(Liz, I hope that my Dad and Ronald told you all this
as I discussed this with them in my last trip to
Washington, D.C.  You know sometimes men 
forget to pass on messages (LOLOLOL)
 
TALENT  for ALL AGE GROUPS will be 
welcome, i.e.   
 
AGES  1-5, 5-11, 12-16, 16-20, 20-30
30-50, 50-70, 70-100, and PLUS 
 
Additionally, I would like to also 
encourage our BALLROOM DANCERS
to please be ready for exhibition dancing
and competition (SMILE). 
 
The shows will be throughout the reunion. 
I would like to have volunteer JUDGES
so anyone interested, please let me know!  
 
As we all know, CURAMENGS and their
respective families are nothing if not talented. 
 
I'll never forget my memories of the MARCELOS
and their then small children singing I BELIEVE
at our parties.  And now those children are grown
with children of their own, right?  
 
I remember Cousin Melva Hula Dancing! 
 
Who can forget our beloved Uncle Fred Blanquera
as our CURAMENG ELVIS?  
 
And Neal Curameng singing and dancing NEW YORK
NEW YORK when he was 4 years old?  
 
How about when Auntie Elvie, Auntie Josie, 
Auntie Lita, Uncle Ruben, Uncle Jim sang 
HARBOR LIGHTS at the reunion parties 
back when?  
 
I could go on and on. 
 
By the way, when I say talent?  
 
I'm not just talking music and dance, y'all.  
I'm talking poetry, rapping, magic tricks, 
juggling. etc, essay writing, STAND UP COMEDY, 
talented pet tricks, you name it. 
 
All acts must be no longer than 3 minutes long.  
 
For our intellectuals, I will host a fun 
CURAMENG AND FAMILY JEOPARDY
time for the first night, so as to break the ice
a little.  A fun way to get to know one another.

2.  MEDICAL FACTS AND MYTHS (guessing what kind of medical specialties and at which hospitals our Curameng family medical personnel work!)

5.  HIP FILIPINO AND ENGLISH PHRASES
6.  CURAMENG GEOGRAPHY
7.  CURAMENG SPOUSES (yeah, yeah, yeah---a great
way to get the lowdown on the wives, husbands and significant
others of our family members)
8.  CURAMENG NOSTALGIA (matching the memories with the memory maker)
9.  CURAMENG HISTORY 
10.  CURAMENG GEOGRAPHY (where do we all live anyway?)
11.  CURAMENG SPORTS  (who are our athletes and their sports)
12.  WAYS AND MEANS (guessing how certain people 
travelled to the reunion)
 
LIZ & RON--This means you MUST SING AND DANCE, 
too, even though you are coordinators
 
Let's have some Filipino folk dancing and Hula, too, okay?  
 
COUSIN LITO AND NAP, I expect you to 
be part of CURAMENG AND FAMILY JEOPARDY
as well as Kristie Curameng, Neal Curameng, 
Katherine Curameng, David Curameng, 
and Cousin Melva's children, Cousin Nony's 
children, and everyone else I've not even met
that are our BRAINIACS, etc.  
 
Don't worry, y'all.  It's all in fun.  
Competition is just part of the fun! 
Even losing is fun with the CURAMENG
AND FAMILIES.   
 
BY THE WAY, 
Prizes will be given for 
MOST CHILDREN BROUGHT TO REUNION
LARGEST CURAMENG CLAN 
 
We have  A WHOLE YEAR to scheme
to make these fun things even more engaging
than our imaginations can carry us.  
 
I'm excited about our reunion and the fun 
ways we get to really experience our multiculturalism
and family ties.  
 
Remember:  Though we are separated geographically
and our paths are diverse, we have more in common than we 
realize.  That's the theme of the talent shows and the 
CURAMENG quiz games.
