Well, tomorrow came and so did the time to go drive my potential new car, I headed off to the showroom and when I got there it was sitting right outside the main door. I went in and spoke to the same chap as before who handed me the keys and said "lets go". Who was I to refuse?
I got behind the wheel and started her up, she seemed so quiet compared to the previous cars I had owned, and off we went. We headed out the industrial estate and out onto the main roads, already I could feel she was more powerfull than the likes of my XR2's and the clapped out Sierra I had at the time (which was traded in for the Beeza).
After what I can only describe as one of the best drives of my life we headed back to the showroom where it was paperwork time. It did not take long to fill out and sign the neccessary forms and she was mine. The worst bit was that I could not take the car home straight away as it had not been serviced yet and they were going to put on new road tax which I was told would take two days, I was not too happy but I took pleasure in the thought that no one else could have her now.
She was mine.
Two days later I collected the car and gladly handed over the keys to the 50 Sierra I had been driving for the last three months.
