Many persons have been credited for Revolutionizing" a "Thing," be it: Film, art, music, or something else. More often than not, such claims seem to this reviewer to be little more than hyperbole.
One such band which truly did participate in the evolution of music would have to be, without doubt, BLACK SABBATH. Their 1969 self-titled album is now credited by record industry professionals as a product which was ceremoniously sealed with approval by the founder of the Church of Satan (See: The Liner-Notes for the Black Sabbath "Reunion" CD).
