Culpeper Presbyterian Church

Senior High PYF Advisors: Deanne Cockerill 937-2146. We are a community youth group sponsored by the Culpeper Presbyterian Church. All youth 9th-12th grade are invited to join irregardless of their church affiliation. We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00. Our focus is on Christian fellowship, community service, programs, and fund raising. Some examples of our activities are fellowship: bowling, hiking, cook-out; community service: packing meals for the elderly, visiting the nursing home; programs: faith, depression, drug abuse; fund raising: car wash, bake sales, dinners.

Junior High PYF Advisors: Cindy Bireley (825-3637). Meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., unless we have a special activity. Junior High PYF is open to 6th-8th graders and their invited friends. We currently have around 22 kids on our roster, with an average attendance each week of about 14 kids. We begin each meeting with a short devotion and close in our traditional circle prayer.

Our youth group attends the Massanetta Springs Presbyterian Middle School Conference at the end of June each summer. It is a great opportunity for spiritual growth, for bonding as a youth group, and for meeting new friends.
