Lucas Terrier Scrapbook

Thomas' Coffee Bean

On 18th December 1994 Frost's Szasza produced a litter sired by a tan Norfolk/Sealyham hybrid, Irwin's Tigger (litter brother of Irwin's Flossie).

Two bitches were considered to be of sufficient quality to be bred on from. One was 'Beany', above, and the other the slightly larger Thomas' Ginger Rogers (Ginger) who went to Jumbo Frost.

Beany has a very hard coat, if such coats could be produced regularly it would make life so much easier for owners who have problems with the tugs and tangles of the softer, silkier version.

One of Beany's babies, Thomas' Tom Thumb, went to the USA where he spends the winter in Florida and summer in

Maine. He lives with a Lucas which was bred in the USA called Warwick.

It is hoped that Beany will have a litter of pups in Summer 2000.
