Lucas Terrier Scrapbook

In 1996 Jumbo Frost mated the Sealyham Dandy's Dainty Ice Lady to Jenny Hopkirk's small tan dog Colville's Monte. Three puppies were born but they were premature and two died shortly afterwards. The third puppy was almost completely hairless and very small, but he was a fighter. As his hair grew he became stronger and was subsequently named Frost's Lostmelicence Samson, above (the other part of his name relates to yet further drama in the story of his survival, but that tale is not for general consumption, sadly).

Samson has matured into a very nicely put together boy and in 1999 was Best In Show at the Lucas Terrier Club Show under the well know Norfolk breeder and judge Joy Taylor.
