| Tiger Cubs is a one-year program for boys who are in the 1st grade or 7-years-old. Each Cub works side-by-side with an adult partner. (An adult partner MUST accompany the Cub to ALL Scout related activities- pack and den meetings, fundraisers, Go-See-Its, etc.) The boys and their partners complete age-appropriate tasks including den activities, songs, arts and crafts, den skits, and family activities. The Tiger Cub Den meets at least 4 times per month: - 1 Pack meeting (all Dens-Tiger,Wolf, Bear and Webelos- meet together), - 2 Tiger Den meetings - 1 Go-See-It. The Go-See-It is a monthly field trip to a place determined by the leaders. It usually fits into the monthly theme and is a requirement for advancement. Our Tiger Cubs must complete 5 achievements in order to graduate: - Making My Family Special - Where I Live - Keeping Myself Healthy and Safe - How I Tell It - Let's Go Outdoors Each of these 5 achievements have three parts, with which he earns TOTEM beads: - A Den activity- An activity that is completed by the den during one of the two monthly Den meetings. (For each required Den activity he completes, the Cub receives an ORANGE totem bead.) - A Family activity- An activity that is completed by the Cub and his family members at home. (For each required Family activity he completes, the Cub receives a WHITE totem bead. -A Go-See-It- This is the monthly field trip. See above for description.(For each required Go-See-It that the Cub participates in, he will receive a BLACK totem bead.) TIGER CUB MOTTO Search, Discover, Share!!
