In order for this Pack to function we must set boundaries, and rules for all involved. Children learn from example, and their role models are their parents. When the children see their parents getting involved, and following the Code of Proper Behavior, they will follow this example.

1.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Bring the child through the door to attend Den meetings, and let the leader know who will be retrieving the child from the meeting.

2.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Retrieve child from leader to leave meetings, and do so in a punctual manner. Be sure the child has finished his responsibilities before leaving a meeting.

3.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Be attentive to the commitments they made, and act in support positions in the Pack.

4.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Accompany their child to all Pack functions. This especially concerns Pack Meetings. Parents are responsible for maintaining control of their children, and helping to maintain order at Pack functions, and meetings.

5.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Make certain all dues, and monetary obligations are kept current, this includes participation with fund-raisers.

6.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Confirm Den, or Pack meetings with the Leaders. Changes from the normal meeting times will be communicated from the Leaders.

7.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Communicate with Den Leader if child will not be attending, or will be late. At this time the leaders can inform you what your child will be missing so he can keep current with his Den.

8.  The parent or adult acting as parent must: Show respect to the Pack Leadership as a position of authority, setting an example for the child to do the same. In other words if you have a problem, or complaint, discuss it with the leader in private, not in front of the child.

Please understand that not following these rules will result in your child being suspended or dismissed from Pack 421 functions.
