Code Of Proper Behavior
For Cub Scouts, Family members, and Parents.

1) BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS AT ALL TIMES
The definition is: to have regard for, and to avoid violation of others.
This means:
NO profanity, abusive language, or Racial slurs.
Do not touch anyone else's stuff, with out their permission!
No hitting, punching, kicking, spitting at, or name calling!
Do not make noise, or be disruptive, when someone else is speaking.

2) BEHAVE AS WELL MANNERED YOUNG MEN
The definition is: acting with Socially proper behavior
This means:
Pay attention when someone is speaking.
Use the courtesies of; Please, Thank you, and, Excuse me.
Stand or sit with both feet on the floor, quietly.
Keep your hands at your side, or on your lap.
Do not be disruptive to others, or the meeting!

3) BE A GOOD EXAMPLE AS A SCOUT
The definition is: one that is representative of a group as a whole.
This means:
Wear your uniform with pride, and keep it clean, and neat.
We work as a team, all personal disagreements are set aside.
A Scout gives goodwill!
Your parents, and Leaders, are judged by the way you act.
We expect you to represent us, and yourself well.

4) OBEY those in AUTHORITY, they are responsible for your safety.
The definition is: to yield to, to do as told.
Leaders, Parents, and Den Chiefs are in authority.
Any person acting as a group leader, or instructor, at any place we visit, is in authority. They are responsible for your safety.

5) AVOID Fights with others
The definition is: to stay clear of
If you feel threatened, walk away from the problem.
If problem continues immediately seek out an adult, and stay with that adult until the problem can be settled.
If an adult is not available call for assistance, get someone's attention.
Do Not Take Matters into your hands if at all possible.

Not following these rules can result in being asked to leave the activity.
