Pack 421 Den Leaders
The responsibilities of the Den Leaders are; Work directly with other Leaders and Assistants to make sure that their Den is an active and successful part of the Pack. Plan, prepare for, and conduct regular meetings with the Den Assistant Leader and Den Chief. Lead the Den at the monthly Pack activity. Monitor achievements, and involve the members of the Den in activities that complete achievements for rank.
Mrs. Amy Walls
This is Ms. Amy's second time around with Pack 421, she was a Bear parent then moved to Webelos Leader for her step-son, from 2000-2003.  Ms. Amy is our current Wolf Leader, she moved up from Tiger Leader last year.  She is Basic Leader, Youth Protection, and BALOO trained.  Ms. Amy is also CPR and First Aide certified.

Mrs Walls is a teacher in the Virginia Beach School system, and is completing her Masters in Special Education.
She has 2 children, 1 son a member of Pack 421, and a daughter who does not yet attend school.

Mr John McPherson
Mr. John has been with us since 2006.  He started as a Bear Leader, and has moved up to part of the Webelos Leader Team. 
He is Basic Leader and Youth protection Trained.

Mr. McPherson is a Refrigeration Repair Specialist, working as a sub-contractor for 7-11 and other stores.
He has 3 children living here in Chesapeake 1 son who is a member of Pack 421, 2 daughters one is a member of our Julliettes, all three are members of Chesapeake Soccer Teams.


Ms. Rhonda Strain
Ms. Rhonda has been with us since 2002.  She has worked in every Den from Tiger to Webelos.  Currently she is a member of the Committee and a Leader at large, primarly working as the advisor for our Girl Scout Juliettes. She is Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Commissioner trained, including BALOO, water and swim safety, boat safety, and District Committee Specific training.  She is a member of the E-River District Training Team, heading up the Cub Scout side.  She has also completed her Girl Scout Leader Training, and is CPR certified.

Ms. Strain has 4 children, and one grand-child.  She is a certified Teacher, and home schools her children. Her son is a member of Troop 48, and our Den Chief, her youngest daughter is the Leader Aide for our Juliettes.
