PINEWOOD DERBY

Location: Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church on Leavells Rd.
Pat Hartley has volunteered to run this, and Darryl C. and John H. will be providing the audio/visual displays. We really want to focus on making it a great time for the kids and allowing them to have fun but also be competitive. All cars were turned in early, so we will be ready to begin at 10 am promptly. You must be present at the event to receive any award your car earns!

BLUE AND GOLD BANQUET
DATE: February 26, 2005

Our Blue and Gold this year is being headed by Stephanie Hergenrather. While the official theme this year is Let's Celebrate Scouts, we are utilizing the theme of "wild, Wild West" as well. We are going to be checking into optional locations just to make it a little different this year. Sign ups for food went around at the meeting. We are currently meeting at Stephanie's house every Tuesday at 1:30pm to complete the preparations. Please consider making one of these planning meeting to contribute to the event,

DOUGHNUT SALE
DATE: March, 2005 (location TBD)
Pat Hartley will head up the sale this month. Pat is still in need of some extra help in going to pick up the doughnuts the day of sale and also will need to set up who is going to help. We’d like to have cell phones at each location so that if one area is not selling and another is moving product, we can get more doughnuts to that location. Also, Pat will need to be "training" someone to take over these sales as he will be relocating in May. Please pray as to how you can help fulfill this need.
