| TEX BACK ON OUR SCREENS! Tex will hopefully be returning to our computer screens in what you may say, a different format.The next game in the Tex series will be in 'Shockwave' format. This will mean playing the game off the internet. It will take off where Overseer finished after Tex and Chelsee's unfortunate incident. | 12th January, 2001 Oh Well I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season! I hope santa got you everything you wanted for Christmas and that you all had a great view of the New Year's celebrations! Sorry that I was unable to wish everyone a happy holidays before but some technical problems had my computer in to Mr Fix-it from the 20th Dec until yesterday. Quite a long time so I hope I did not miss anything big. BLACK PEARL ON X-BOX OR NOT??? Black Pearl is to be released on Microsoft's new console, the "X-Box"! or is it??? There seems to be many discussions on whether Black Pearl will continue the Tex Murphy series. Although this site says it is on its list of fourthcoming games, many other X-Box sites still have no news for the apparent forthcoming Tex adventure. | 26 January, 2001 Well, it was my birthday yesterday! YAY! =o) Well I had fun, although unfortunately no Tex game in store for a gift this year =o( But also good news is there is going to be a Tex Murphy audio dramatisation, all being organised by our very own Adele. You see, she writes the scrips and us (the Tex fans) get to act out the parts! Sounds kinda fun eh? Well that will be up in production hopefully soon and I will put a list of all the parts being played and who is doing the voices for them once all spots have been taken. There are still some more parts left if you are interested so just pop into the Tex Murphy messageboard and look it up! Well, thats all for the moment, so have fun! Cub. |

| 6th February, 2001 I have put in a NEW guestbook as the old one expired (For about 2 months!!!). But I still have all the old entries available for view in the old guestbook, but it is no longer signable. You will have to sign the new guestbook from now on. | 21 February, 2001 Here is the latest news from D V about the Tex Murphy Webisodes: "Hey guys, sorry I haven't been active in the Tex community recently but to be honest with you, I'm not a guy who goes to work at an office, in fact I don't really work at all ^_^ but that still doesn't mean I don't like to go and have fun with friends. Ok, here's a HUGE hint about my identity but anyway, just to tell you guys, the webisodes ARE in fact still under development. Reallythe only guys doinf it are: Chris Jones, Doug Vendegrift, Jon Clark and Aaron Conners so that may tell you a few things why it takes as long as it does. All of them try to work on it in their spare time. So don't get mad and just be patient with them. | TEX MURPHY: THE ULTIMATE DETECTIVE! Is this the next leap for Tex or not? A short while ago there was a post from Coach DV bosting that Tex Murphy will be back on a re-relese box set featuring all 5 Tex Murphy games on one DVD disk. But the all important problem is that we have no confirmation on the post. He said that it will be called "Tex Murphy: The Ultimate Detective", and it will include: Meen Streets, Martian Memmorandum, Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive and Overseer. It is said to be released in January 2002. There have been problems before on Tex Murphy message boards will posts explaining false information, and unfortunately this dream is only a mirage until it has been confirmed. | The post on the TexMurphy.com message board is a HOAX! The "apparent" post concerning the release of a new Tex Murphy Box Set titled: "Tex Murphy: The Ultimate Detective" was dismissed by Aaron Conners in this e-mail: Hello everyone: Since you all sent me the announcement below, I thought I'd respond en masse. This is an obvious and quite entertaining hoax. I'd thought the biggest tip-offs were the Photo Gallery of scantily clad "Tex Girls", and me being quoted as saying "...our old MASTERPIECES..." Chris and I would certainly love to do to release an "Ultimate Detecitve Box Set", but it's not being done. Thanks for all the interest, Aaron So there you have it. The truth is spoken! Cub. |

| NEW TEX FANFIC! A Short time ago, around 8 posters on the Tex Murphy message board joint together to write and amazing new Tex Murphy fanfic. The authors were: Chris Marsland, Cubase, FrankDePasquale, Matthew Buckstein, Nick R PI, Nippy 316, ooMiFoo and Valynis. And it is now complete and available fo you to read in full! ALSO, I have now updated the fanfic, fixing up spelling errors and deviding it into chapters, thanks to Matthew Buckstein for his editing of the story. Don't forget to rate it! | TEX MURPHY RADIO THEATRE! Tex is back! Aaron Conners and Chris Jones have created the Tex murphy radio Theatre. A weekly radio show playing episodes continuing on from where overseer left off. Originally, these episodes were going to be 'webisodes', animated episodes. But due to the time it took to produce them, Chris Jones and Aaron Conners have moved on and created Tex Murphy Radio Theatre containing the original cast members. At the moment we area waiting for episode 5, which has been slightly delayed due to the producer on holidays, but hopefully it will be up soon.
