This fanfiction first started on one of my frequent trips to the Tex Murphy message board. I wanted to create a topic that would get people posting, at least for a little while, so I decided to create an improv-type fanfiction. I began by posting a simple introduction to the story, and let other posters continue on from there. The rules were straight-forward: You may post as many times as you like, continuing on from the last post, as long as you never post twice in a row. Editing was permitted as long as no continuations to your new section had been posted yet. The entire story posting process lasted three weeks (July 4 - 25, 2001).
