Her Name is Utada Hikaru.
The first song of hers that I heard was "Automatic". It's still my favourite song from her.
I can't even think of the words to describe how pretty her voice is. She seems to breathe life and emotion into every song she sings and the melodies are so infectious that they'll have you singing (or attempting to sing) along to them whether or not you can speak Japanese.
