The top photos are my attempt at a portrait. It's too late for a professional photographer in time to make copies for Christmas cards. Not bad.....if I do say so myself!!
What a surprise to get Mackenzie's citizenship documents in the mail. I only applied four weeks earlier and was expecting a 6 - 9 month wait (stated on the application). You may have noticed that I kept her Chinese name as her middle name.....how could I resist - the translation is "dream child".
Many of these pictures were taken on or around Christmas. Mackenzie had a ball playing in the snow and visiting relatives in Belleville and here at home. A fun time was had by all. |
