CTCA TIPS: October 2007
October’s Meeting: Thursday, October, 4th. @ 7:00pm at Heather Kenny’s house at 2721 Beacon Drive *********** Please note that due to the changes at the township building, the monthly meetings will be at individual’s homes. Please check back as to their locations.
VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR SANTA RUN: We need a volunteer to chair the annual "Santa Run". CTCA provides the decorations, money for the treats and gas. Please volunteer if you have access to a pick-up truck. If no one volunteers, this event will be cancelled. It will be a pity, if Santa can't bring good cheer to our children this year. If interested call Bev Piscitelli at 610-670-1009 or email [email protected]. I need a response by October 27th.
Sunshine News: by Cheryl Reichart A sympathy card was sent to Tim Wolf of Tennyson Ave. His brother had passed away. We wish to express our deepest sympathies. Please send all sunshine news to Cheryl Reichart: (610)678-5398. Thank You!

THANKSGIVING DAY BASKETS 2007 : Autumn brings the harvest, and that makes thankful hearts. Cornwall Terrace Community Association will again coordinate the collection and delivery of “Thanksgiving Day Baskets” to needy families in our local area. This is a wonderful way to “love our neighbor,” building bridges with compassion as we all cope with security issues near and far. There is no better way to express our thankfulness than by giving to those who have not been as fortunate this year.
Last year, C.T.C.A. was able to give 30 families an entire turkey dinner due to your kind donations! With the help of our Block Captains, we will be asking each home to donate a specific food item plus $2.00 toward the purchase of the turkeys. The list of specific food items and where/when to drop them off will be in the November issue of the TIPS. Anyone who can donate copier paper boxes (with tops), please give me a call now!
Thank you for your generosity! Brenda Daelhousen (610) 678-1660 |
