The
Easter Egg Hunt was held the Sat after Easter and approximately 50
children
attended. The easter bunny handed out pencils to
all children & lots of candy and
prizes were had by all.

I hope I didn't
miss anyone. Special Thanks to all who helped stuff eggs and to
those who helped get ready the morning of the egg hunt. We
couldn't do it without all of your help!

BLOCK CAPTAIN UPDATE
A heartfelt thank you to Karen Kurtyka who graciously volunteered to be block captain for the 100 block of Spohn Rd. Her address is 148 Spohn Rd and telephone number is 610-678-5413. Please welcome her. Also, thank you to Noel Loder. She will be block captain for Lower and 100 blocks of Shakespeare Drive. We still need a volunteer for Huyett Drive. KAUFFMAN’S CHICKEN BARBECUE UPDATE by Bev Piscitelli
This was a successful fundraiser for the community. Thank goodness the weather cooperated in our favor. Thank you to the Block Captains for preselling 371 dinners. We placed an order for 500 chickens. There were 36 prepurchased dinners that were not picked up by noon, so they were resold.
CTCA can enjoy the net profit of $865.00 for your patronage. The top three sellers were Rob Santoro (47), Noel Loder (41) and Elaine Taylor (33). I’d like to extend a special thank you to Cindy & John Arters, Michele & Randy Rittle, Bob Borzellino and Deb Franck for volunteering their time in setting up, collecting tickets and money and bagging the dinners.
