| Section II
A majority will elect. Section III The officers shall be elected for two year terms. Directors shall be elected for three year terms. Officers and Directors may be elected for more than two consecutive terms. Article V Officers and Duties Section I The elected officers shall be: President First Vice-President AMENDED and RESTATED Second Vice-President AMENDED and DELETED Treasurer Recording Secretary Membership Secretary Section II Duties: A. President, chief executive of the Society, shall act as Chairman of the Board of Directors, preside at all meetings, appoint standing committees with the approval of the Board, appoint members to be Curator, Librarian, and Historian with approval by the Board, appoint special committees, render an annual report and perform such duties pertinent to the office. The president is a member, ex-officio of all committees except the nominating committee. B. First Vice-President AMENDED AND RESTATED - shall exercise the functions of the president during the absence or disability of the president, shall be responsible for monitoring compliance with our Bylaws and any state or federal regulations concerning non-profit organizations, shall coordinate Ways and Means events designated by the Board and shall assume any additional duties as assigned by the Board of Directors. C. AMENDED and DELETED Second Vice-President shall assume the duties of the President and First-Vice President in their absence, shall be responsible for planning programs as directed by the Board and shall assume any additional duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
