Last Updated: Sept. 13, 2009
The purpose of this guild shall be to stimulate interest in and perpetuate the art of basketry.
Welcome to the CTBG!
The Central Texas Basket Guild (CTBG) was formed on January 26, 2002. This guild is open to all persons interested in perpetuating the art of basketry. Please click on the membership form button (at the top of this page) if you are interested in becoming a member. Also, you are welcome and encouraged to attend one meeting without being a member if you would like to see what we are all about first.  Membership fee is only $20 annually and entitles you to participate in guild group weaving dates, special classes by visiting instructors and shows at which the guild sells baskets. We always weave at the meetings (see dates and pictures below).
