B Beer and Wine

Now if you think I am crying in my glass, because I miss the German Beer and Rhein-wine you are definitely wrong!

In the States there is a beautiful variety of Beer and Wines. Especially Microbreweries offer great unique Beers, per example: the Restaurant Wellhead in Artesia, N.M., Farmingtons Three Rivers (though at our last visit the service in Three Rivers was really bad and the Burgers way overpriced). Best selection of wines has in Roswell Albertson, where you can find great red wine from California or my favorite from Chile.

Last New Year I tried a Sparkling Wine from Albuquerque made with the Mthode Champenoise. I was baffled. It was the best flavor in a Champaign I have had since opening a bottle of Mot et Chandon on the Beach of Normandy on my 20th Birthday.
The only time I get a tear in my eyes is in August, when in Wiesbaden and throughout the Rhein-valley the wine fests start. Cars are nowhere aloud in the villages and Streets. Booths of the local vineyards are being put up and you can sample the delicious fresh wine of the season, have yummy specialties and listen to music bands from Rock to Country and German Folk.
