Railroad Street runs southeast to northwest. Magnet lies south (and west) of Railroad Street. Main Street runs from Railroad Street west. Dennis Elevator is on the east side of Railroad across from the east end of Main.

Running north and south across Main are Cedar Street, Park Street, and West Street.

Tilton Oil is on the southwest corner of Main & Cedar, J & D hardware is on the northeast corner, and The Magnet Market is one door west of the northwest corner. Further west on the northside of Main are the Post Office, Town Hall, Yunker's Tavern, and (across Park Street) the Methodist Church.

On the south side of Main, the village park lies between Cedar and Park, while the Antique Store and school lie between Park and West streets.

The Christian Church is on the northwest corner of Park Street and South Street, one block south of Main.

North of Main Street and parallel to it are Grove Street and Oak Street.
