Dear Husband

You must have been waiting for my letter to hear that we have landed. It was a tiresome journey which was not necessary as we had good weather. The North Sea was so calm we could hardly realize the ship was moving. We arrived two days late. To cross England from Liverpool took eight hours.

(Fri. May 24) I am now visiting the old folks in Helstorp after spending one day in Jonkoping trying to find their sister there. But that was impossible and no wonder as Mia had written Lundgren instead of Lundquist.

I wonder how you are getting along. Tell Clarence to write to me every other week. I am not able to write any more this time as the old man is on his way to the station and I must hurry and send this letter with him.

Best regards to you all.

Your ever faithful wife

Minnie
