Part 11 (June 20th) - Page 3
We strolled back up geyser hill and stopped to admire some of our favorites, like Morning Glory Pool. How glorious it was in the bright sunshine!  We missed seeing the Daisy group erupt, but we had seen them spout off last year.

How about these little mud towers - what will they grow into someday?

One of Carol's favorites, Grotto Geyser, was boiling and churning away like a grumpy old man.
The coolest feature of the Lion group was the "Garrummph!" of Lion Geyser just before it erupts. Our arrival timing was perfect, since soon thereafter, we heard him roar!
And then were sprayed with more "geyser snot," sending us scurrying up the boardwalk.
The Lion Cub soon
had to
join  the action.
