SPAM Statistics

I am getting a LOT of SPAM. and I was curious to see if I get more and more SPAM as a function of time and to find out if it flunctuates at all. A big variance would indicate many small SPAMMERS, a constant amount in my opinion will indicate that there are just few SPAMMERS working at full capacity all the time.
So here is my little project. It is based on ONE email address I am monitoring. I use MS Outlook 2003 to get all the SPAM into the SPAM folder, and a little script I wrote to count and log the numbers.
