How do I become an operator?
It helps if you have an interest in CSJ for a start! It also helps, if you have a fair knowledge of IRC and the Undernet IRC network. You also need a username. Generally operator status is bestowed on someone who has spent a long time in the channel, and has helped during this period. You're free to ask though, just we do not gurantee that we'll say yes. How do I register a username?
Please go to the Undernet #Beginner website, it explains it quite thoroughly there. Or you can directly go to http://www.cservice.undernet.org/live/ and get a username. Note: When registering a new username, one must have a valid email. Free Mails such as yahoo, hotmail, eudora are not valid.

What this channel is about?

Just a reminder to all, that if you are feeling bored online, then make it *your* responsibility to enlighten others in the channel and get some conversations started. After all we all have bad days and need some cheering up. Let's help each other to find solutions to our problems, and not create new problems in our lives. And if they still don't answer, sit quietly and prepare for the busy times, because they do come. Remember some people are quiet for a number of reasons, such as meal breaks, family time, at the shops, or just plain sleeping.
