The Prayer Room
It is no unworthy thing to wish to count for something and to do a great work in the world; but we shall count in the final audit not by the measure of our capacity, our business, our energy, but of the tenacity and vitality of our faith, love, and our Prayer.
Prayer is not conquering God's reluctance, but taking hold of God's perfect Will for our lives. Martin Luther once said, "Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime."
Thank You, Father, that You reassure us in so many ways. Please give us spiritual eyes to see Your hand at work. Your face, Lord, we will seek. Do not hide your face from us. You have been our Helper. Do not reject us or forsake us, O God our Saviour. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Welcome, Beloved Visitor. Is this the way you feel sometimes? You seek the Lord but can't find Him? You fear He has rejected you? Thank God for His Word and its reassurances. Spending some time with God, how can we pray? "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors." Our Heavenly Father waits to bestow the fulness of His blessings upon us!
