My name is Carol Huesgen, I am the fourth great granddaughter of John  Wooters of Guilford Co. North Carolina. The Wooters  family migrated to Marion County, Illinois about 1843. They settled in Raccoon Township and remained there for many years. I live in St. Louis, Missouri, and genealogy is my hobby. Noah Washington Wooters Jr.

Noah was originally from North Carolina. He travelled to Illinois at the age of six. His family settled in Raccoon Township. Noah drove a Stage Coach on the  Mt. Vernon to Salem line.
