Latest NewsCabaret ConcertoOn 6th May 2004, CSD Brass, conducted by guest artist James Gourlay gave the World premiere of the newly commissioned �Cabaret Concerto� by Martin Ellerby, with Philip Mead playing the solo piano part. The concert took place in the University Music School Concert Hall, West Road, Cambridge to a large and enthusiastic audience. The programme also included traditional brass band music in all styles, and was previewed and reviewed in British Bandsman who called the concerto a �hit� and described the concert as �highly enjoyable�. © CSD Brass 2004 |
