  • Style and Philosophy

    Victoria's personal faith, and her belief in the power of relational connection, influence her desire to create a warm and comfortable experience for clients, allowing them to feel safe and ultimately heard in a way that offers the maximum opportunity for healing and change. She works collaboratively with her clients, believing that individuals, couples, and families alrady possess the strenghts and resources that they need to lessen the influence of problems in their lives. Her role as a therapist is to assist and support clients in indentifying and accesing these strenghts and resources while encouraging healthier and more comfortable relationships within couples, families, and the community.

  • Education and Experience

    Victoria received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Sociology, with honors, from the University of Wshington. She received her Masters of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. As a married mother of three, Victoria has an understanding and appreciation for the enormous stresses that most families are under today. Her professional experiences working in the public school system, working with children/adolescents with and without disabilities, as well as working within the mental health system, enable her to work comfortably with the unique and diverse culture of each family. In addition,Victoria has experience working with families in crisis situations, such as domestic violence, and is commited to parterning with families to ensure safety for all members of the family.
