Solar System
Kynn-Dara resides within a binary star system. And it resides within this
system in a rather extraordinary way. Instead of orbiting both stars, as
would be expected, this planet manages to orbit but one, Tomara, the smaller
sun. The two are apparently far enough apart to not incinerate the planet,
but the fact that life can exist here is a marvel. The Drakes mumble about
magic and technology or something like that, but that’s their business.
For me, it’s enough to know that I’m breathing still. Gaemon, that’d be
the sun in our skies most of the time. How this all works is beyond me.
On top of the suns, there are three moons. Sukora, Morial, and Talmet.
Drakes named ‘em all. Drakes? I’ll get to them. But, there’s rumors of
another planet around Tomara, Kan-Diri, but that’s just rumor. I wouldn’t
know for certain, myself. The place to look for such information, I’m afraid,
would be the Empire. The Empire? That's one of the nations this world has
adopted, I fear. But that is beside the point at this moment.
