"Bipolar"
By: Daniel
I bleed the life from my wrist,
Slowly engulfing the water in long awaited death,
I am not bleeding,
I am crying crimson tears,
Cleansing my soul,
Taking my life,
Bringing me closer to you,
I can feel you now,
I can almost see you,
Time begins to stand still,
Life flashes with reassurance,
Tears running dry,
You are all but clear,
Then you begin to fade,
You leave me breathless,
Without pity or remorse,
You leave me ravished,
With my senses dulled,
You leave me alive,
More dead than I was before,
Then you are gone,
As quickly as you came,
I can't see you anymore,
I am awake now,
I can see the pain,
I can see the bandages around my wrist,
I am back where I started,
Numb and bipolar.
