Hopefully I still have my loyal audience, cuz if I don't...oooo...well actually nothing. College year 3 in the hole, and summer school in a week. Gonna start working on the site again soon. Well actually gonna transfer to a new server. The good folks at Extralife have some sweet deals going on for members in the way of webhosting. Maybe I'll finally get dougcarreiro.com without having to eat ramen for every meal. One can only hope. Gaming news. Lets make this reall quick. Been playing with my Wii (sexual joke? Welcome to 2006 loser). I rock so hardcore at Wii sports. Started playing Zelda, looks excellent thus far. As for PC, hmm...Call of Juarez is an excellent game, too short though. Command and Conquer 3 is awesome. I beat the GDI campaign, but the Nod is hard as all hell. be ready to pull your hair out. Let's see, other games, Finally played Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, which is excellent as well. Still working on Double Agent, which is good, but not perfect. Now hows that for a crappy paragraph? oh my writing teachers would be proud. Im curious though, someone (and i have a pretty good idea of who) joined up on my map whos name is "Just an Ordinary Girl" only they are set as a guy. freaked out? you bet i am! haha/ Leavin for a week as of tomorrow so dont expect updates....hahahaha, man thats funny! Apparanlty we are also immature (ok. i am at certain times) and like old crappy shows taht were cancelled from FOX after airing a couple episodes (ie Fastlane). ANd since when are shows like FastLane, THe Man Show (which i like mind you), Star Trek, and all those other crappy shows that are on G4 related to gaming? HEll even X-Play is crap now. THe made Adam Sessler into a bumbling fool, which is he not. I saw him at E3 2 years ago and he was all business. ANyways, the reason why i watched G4 last night was becuase they had a debate with the famouse Jack Thompson about violent videogames. It was a pretty good debate and shows that Sessler is indeed mature and knows what he's talking about. I have a good 2 months of updates i just uploaded so have fun with those. I wrote a program to format all my updates for me to make it easier to upload. Right now im working on some scripting for the site (PHP etc) so hopefully ill have that up eventually. i know...crappy update but ill have more eventually. It has been two whole years since i first started The Bunker! Man some stuff has changed since then. This page came to be about a week or so after I graduated from good old Lemoore High School. Summer was boring so I figuered id start this. For those who want to see, I still have the very first page uploaded to the site intact. so without furter ado: I first started out this out to be kind of a front end for my Revolt Game server which, obviously, never materialized. It was also supposed to keep people informed about the then named I Hate Alex Inc. Alex will probably hate bringing this up again but its a piece of history...like slavery or the alien invation of 1926. straight from the archives is the IHA business cards i made back in the day.  About a month later I started posting links at the end of my posts in a section i some times referred to as "Stans Joke Corner" or just "Stupid Crap I Find On The Internet." well this eventually got bigger and bigger as my social life got smaller and smaller so i eventually started a new page called ROFFLEMOW with just links in it which, i presume, why most people come to this sight now. I also used this page as kind of a make shift Xanga, but i have never referred this as a blog. thats why i also try to put news etc in all my posts. i was inspired by Justin Gagnar's Xangna (see left) to put my current Music, Movie, and Game i was playing on that side. I also added a profile (which has not been updated since i posted it) This sight has always been about Lans and such and I would regularly post when the next local LANs are as well as who was schedualed to come to mine. I also would post the stupid pics we took at LANs, though I still ahve a lot of video back then there was no support for it. As always Ive always had the Clan page up which i havnt updated since it went up. That's why it still is caleld IHA instead of H.A.T.E. (Hungry Alex's Tastee Eatery) or I Hate Chuck Inc. It will always be IHA in our hearts (put down the baseball bat Alex) That and im very lazy. as you can see in the archives I missed updating for a while stooping as low as 1 update per month. In 2 years I have used up 7.6 MB of my original 10 MB storage which was upped to 15 by geocities. also, looking at the counter I have 307 people to this site, which isnt correct as a couple months ago i had over 2000 but it got reset and i was sad. oh well...lets see if i can beat 4000 hits by June 11, 2008! So In honor of this 2 year aniversery, and no i cannot spell, I am launching the the Frappr map of the future Dougtopia, which will be Earth renamed after I take over the world in 2036! so go add yourself. dont worry i wont track you down and beat you up...a lot. i expect to have a total of 2 more people on there by the end of this month. all both of you. you know who you are. -Doug 6/10/06 @ 3:53PM what an interesting week! starting tuesday, after finally gettin the new hitman game to run, my video card takes a shit. so i didnt have a computer for a couple days. I drove to SLO (San Luis Obispo for you n00bs) and borrowed my sister's desktop. After hooking it up for about 10 minutes i decided to rip out the videocard and put it in mine. SUCESS!!! so now i have a $300 video card and a $250 Hard Drive to return for warranty. YAY!! oh and for the record, im now runnin on a GeForce FX 5200 128MB so no games made after 2000 for me. Which works out I guess since im replaying Half-Life 1, also it means I actually have to study for finals. I Finally got the E3 video up for streaming. I have the high quality version still so maybe ill post that at a later date but for now i got y'all a link from YouTube. Still working on getting all the pics uploaded. remember i have just over 4 Gigs of pictures. I should be a poparazzi (is taht how you spell it?) Gigafrag is tonight but i cant make it, in fact I dont think any of the crew is gonna make it. oh well, to cheer you up heres a message i got on my phone last time i went to giga from some of my friends in Santa Barbara. (name the reference and you kick ass) -Doug 6/1/06 @ 5:06PM another day, another update (yea so its been a couple weeks...get off my back). still workin on my E3 video, need a quality image but decent file size. the best i got is almost perfect image but its like 800 megs. not exactly bandwitdh savvy. and the xvid codec screws up my Adobe Premier. speaking of premier...i uninstalled it the other day, and well it took all my codecs on my computer with it. alas i had no sound or video. so a clean install of XP was in order. thats gotta be a good 30 times ive installed an operating system on my computer. good times...the bastards on a more personal note...i am currently in a love hate relationship with this little thing called Asphault. ASSphault! i have eaten shit on my bike twice in the past week. and not a simple "oh no i fell off" more like "JESUS CHRIST!!! GET OUT OF MY WAY!!! BOOOOOMMM!!!! ARGH MY LEG!!!" Accident 1 riding to class in the morning late of course. eatin a granola bar in one hand cuz i never have time for breakfast. truck with a trailer pulls out in front of my so i hit my break on my left, which is, ofcourse, the front brake. (cue slo mo matrix stuff) i go flying over my handle bars just as a good lookin jogger jogs by and asks (doesnt stop mind you) "are you alright?" but i couldnt respond cuz she was soo far away already. bitch. Accident 2 riding home from class after gettin some kick ass subway. i have the soda in my hand (which i havnt takin a sip form yet mind you). chick comes careening out of a blind corner and stops half an inch from me. i hit my break (front again...damn im stupid. suck it Pavlov)go over my handle bars and skid into the middle of the road. soda is gone and the chick just keeps riding. bitch. so as you can see i kick ass at riding bikes. but at least not all was bad with the second incident. when i got back i checked my mail and my FreakyLinks DVDs were here finally. time to rip em and upload em. ya moochers. On more TV news, i am currently in the process of getting "The Adventures of Brisco County Junior" a TV show that was in the running for the timeslot on FOX that the X-Files got. it stars one of the best people in the world...Bruce Campbell!! i believe its on DVD now so go check it out (or hit me up ya lazy bums) Boondock Saints Unrated DVD is out now...need i say more? School in SB will be ending soon (around the 16th i think) so ill be home for a week. then back to SB for sumemr school Oorah!! Hitman Blood Money is out now...go check that out. been playing it a bit and it rocks hardcore (yo). my graphics card is hurtin though. it appears that graphics cards dont like to have their fans suck up a wire and stop them thus letting hte card run at 135 C (which is about 266 F) better break out the eggs and cook an omlet. Oh yea, i saw X-Men 3. and by i mean saw, i mean i had to wait for some friends and when we got in we had to sit all the way in the front and to the side, so i saw parts of the movie. but i liked it. one problem still...WHERE THE HELL IS GAMBIT!! DONT YOU LIKE CANJUNS YOU RACIST BASTARDS!!! and the whole Night Crawler not being it is because "there would be too many blue people in it" is bullcrap. everyone wore black, i think there were too many people wearing black. i got confused. is this the matrix? wheres neo. that asian dude with the porcupine spikes could be neo. (no im not being racist, but come on. porcupine spikes? its like Meg Griffin's Super Power) point is Gambit kicks ass. Morph was awsome.
