August 20048/29/04 @ 1:10AM Hey Look!! An Update!! Just thought I would catch everyone (all two of you) up on stuff. I finally got my webcam instlled and i updated it...judging by the pic I take my war gaming very seriously. Speaking of war games...I have been playing Rise Of Nations Expansion Pack for the last couple days, man is that addicting... 11:30 PM - ok, one more round and i'll go to bed 12:45 AM - I can take one more territory in 15 minutes no problem 1:55 AM - OH YOU CHINESE SONS OF BITCHES ARE GOING DOWN!!! 3:01 AM - Wow...I have to get up in 3 hours! 3:05 AM - AHH HELL...ONE MORE ROUND!! and so on Also, My damn Command and Conquer Generals : Zero Hour (man thats a long name) Cd is broken...some more. So no CNC for me until Giga which is.... NEXT WEEKEND!!! Will my map be done by then? probably not. when i spend 5 hours working on it just so that the compiler can crash and lose all my work and have gnome laugh at me...it kinda erodes your feelings of self worth and motivation (I SCORED A 1160 ON MY SATS!! IM A GENIOUS!!) I PWN3D David. I got him to think I was hacking his Computer...amazing what a few MSDOS commands in the right places will strike fear into the computer illiterate. It's kinda different from 2000, but at least I can now use Adobe Premeire...woohoo. Also, I stared using my speash redognition software again, it's a bitch. It took me 500 tries to say thing. As soon as I train it though...it should Cook Ass. (for those of you who dont know what cook ass means...look up True Nuff) I Updated the layout a little too...now I have a news archive, so the main page isn't as cluttered...now if only everything else in my life was this organized (hint: look at my room and my hard rives...looks like hurrican charlie got em) Also, I decided to update my Gigafrag Signiture: it was originally a dancing gir with teh phrase "Wish I could Dance Like This" Then it evolved into this:  Now it it this  aint it L337 Also...since new OS...no webcam till i reinstall...whoa...Deja Vu...the Matrix Has Me (heh heh heh) -Super D (The "D" is for Doug) 8/15/04 @ 9:45PM IM BAAAAACK!!! I survived another family vacation, and i even still have all my fingers (heh heh heh, little humor there). Though i may be in one piece, im still hurtin. I pulled my back wakeboarding, I jammed 2 fingers, and my ass still hurts from tubing. (my parents used to say they would spank me and i wouldn't be able to sit for a week...well, it's been 4 days) one thing I learned though is that clearing a huge wake on a wakeboard is cool, clearing a huge wake in a tube hurts (also dropping 12 feet in the air to the water hurts). Still playing Doom 3, dont know how far i can get now with my GeForce 3, but like i say, "Life is Pain...GET OVER IT!!". Heh heh heh, also, at our last LAN, apparantly i broke my mouse...again. so I got to cough up $45 bucks to go buy another Microsoft Explorer Mouse...Revolt is murder on mice...this will be my 3rd mouse I also think this is funny (also why I stopped playing CS)  -Air Doug 8/8/04 @ 1:02AM Well, Another Lan in the Books. I had a lot of fun. Pics are up. Doom 3 is scarier than Hell (hmm...I think there's a pun in there somewhere) If anyone sees Gnome playing Doom 3, go up and scare him, it's fun. Speaking of Gnome, He's got his webpage going, go check it out: Gnome's Website Doom 3 is VERY VERY scary, at least right now it is. Here is a list of phrases commonly used while playing Doom 3: "JESUS CHRIST!!!" "SON OF A BITCH!!" "OH SHIT!!" "OH F*CK!!" "I'M GONNA GET YOU F*CKER!!" and of course: "SSSHHHHHIIIIITTTT!!!!" Joke of the Day Jeff showed me this. It is funnier than hell becuase we've all been through the Counter-Strike thing. I just dont like the ending. I think it could have ended A LOT better. If you are anti-gun, have no sense of humor, hate naughty words, or get pissed off easily, don't watch this....other than that, enjoy. It's a nice place to visit but the 150% humidity at 90 degrees aint cuttin it with me. nah..im j/k, it was a blast. HOOTERS KICKS ASS!!!...ahem...back on subject... so im back now..LAN tomorrow, probably the last LAN for a LOOONG time, unless i can get one in again in 2 weeks. If not...the next LAN is going to be Thanksgivin or Christmas Break (not counting Gigas though) And on the subject of Gaming... Doom 3 came out yesterday, i had all intensions of buying it, but do to a little mishap with UPS, i thik I'll "buy" it from ALEX now. what happend with UPS is that my uncle built a compy for my sister with some better stuff in it. so me being the good person that I am said...I'll take that GeForce 4 off your hands...unfortunatly when i tried to boot it up it would post...i look inside an find the UPS had drpped the box which made the CPU fan and Heat SInk come off and hit the Video Card which made the GPU fan fall off and chip the CPU (catch all of that?) so much to say I aint happy. and now for something completly different....
