Basically a fanlisting is a compilation of fans showing their support for a certain character, relationship or thing.
Uchiha Itachi is one of the most powerful Sharingan users and is one of the last members to the Uchiha Clan which was once the strongest clan in Konoha.
He is the very man that killed his clan leaving him and his younger brother Uchiha Sasuke as the only remaining clan members. The true reason for him killing his own clan at the age of 13 is still unknown, all we know was that the prodigy ninja just wanted to test his skills.
As a tensai (genius) he has mastered the Uchiha bloodline limit, the Sharingan eye which was said to have decended from the Hyuuga clan. The abilities the Sharingan has gifted Itachi as that he can see through an opponents techniques and has mastered the Mangekyou Sharingan.
The technique only requires that his opponent would look into his eyes, activating the Sharingan and sending his opponent into years, weeks, days of torture which only happened in mere seconds.
With the murder of his clan, Itachi has been named a missing nin. Thus the scratch on his forehead protector. And has now joined the S-class group of missins nins; The Akatsuki.
The former heir to the Hyuuga family, Konoha's longest and strongers running family in its history.
Hinata is a very very shy person with a very low self esteem. Her sister is Hanabi Hyuuga which seems more capable of being a ninja than she will, as she is born with a very kind nature and would not harm a fly...also seeing as her friend Aburame Shino controls them.
Despite her weak appearance she does make an effort to change and has willingly fought her cousin; Neji who is part of the branch family. To the point that she has nearly died.

Why?
Well, it all began with my obsession with Naruto which led me back to Fanfiction.net and was searching for good fiction. I wasnt a big fan of NarutoxHinata for some reason but oped for the...'weirder' ones but I know I'm not the only person who likes this pairing :3
Despite being totally different personalities, its a rather cute couple if I say so myself.
